We are Denise & Ivor Kavin, new owners of Calgary’s 27 year Haifa Deli. We reopened this traditional business in September 2005 as the only strictly kosher deli in the city. We have a great and inspiring vision that drives our day to day business. Aside from the delicious homemade food and supporting a Jewish business, something wonderful takes place here: it’s a sense of community.
We want to have a hamish and homey atmosphere! People come in here and it’s sort of like a mom and pop type of corner store, where they can get to know you and you get to know them. So we want to bring this same feeling to our virtual shop. And that’s one of the reasons we’d like you to become a member. So we can keep you posted of our new dishes, services, events, etc.
